We aim to be different.

There are more than enough ocean science and conservation organizations out there... there just isn't enough support and investment for the critical work they do.

Our aim is to be a completely different type of organization. One that doesn't try to do what others are already doing. Instead our mission is to be a catalyst for ocean conservation, using the powerful combination of new technology, media, and above all creativity to help support ocean conservation as a whole.

For now, The Ocean Agency is focused on coral reef conservation, due to the urgency of the issue. In the last 30 years alone, we've lost 50% of coral reefs. Coral reefs on the frontline of climate change and our actions now will dictate whether they do or do not survive - impacting half a billion people and a quarter of all ocean life.

A BIG MISSION:

To be a catalyst for the global action necessary to tackle the ocean's greatest issues.

AN UNCONVENTIONAL APPROACH:

We use the powerful combination of new technology, media, partnerships, and above all creativity, to work at a meaningful speed and scale.
